I'm afraid I know the answer to this and you enablers won't do a darn thing to talk me out of it .....

There's a 5.5" 44 Magnum Redhawk around here locally. Pretty common 'cept this one is blued. It's in the wrong (plastic) box for a 1985 vintage gun and is wearing those ugly Hogue rubbers. Otherwise the gun is a solid 98% condition.

Won't these bring $600 all day long even without a box?

Yes--an easy $600 if its in nice shape. the blued redhawks have been discontinued for quite awhile now--which makes them really stand out in a classy way when you run across one, as you just don't see them very often.

Sounds like a good one for you to snag!!

I like my blued 5 1/5" .44 Redhawk. It is the by far the best looking of my large Ruger double actions. Does that help?

The one you are looking at was the last blued RH to be dropped from the catalog and is bar far the most common blued RH. You're already got the .41. They are not much different. Perhaps you can shoot slightly larger bears with the .44. There's your excuse! Go buy it.
