Redhawk grips?

I came across these grips a while back. I'm not a double action guy so my assumption was these were for a Redhawk. They have a neat checkering and stippling combination which is what attracted me to them. I'm assuming these were provided on a production model and curious what is known on them.

I think they came on the newer 4 inch models.

Manufacturer is Altamont. Medallions indicate factory model off .45 convertible or similar, but they are available without medallions for both the round and square butt with nearly identical half checkering pattern.

That's why the serial is on the side of SRH instead on the butt of the handle like on the RedHawks.
