Finally got a Redhawk in 45LC with wood grips. It is a 2004 model
The grips on this one deffinately have a red hue to the finish where the ones on my Security Six and Blackhawks are more natural brown color.

Do all grips for the Redhawk fit each other?
If I found some Redhawk grips on ebay or somewhere can I be assured they would fit my Redhawk?

It's not all that big of a problem so I can live with it if they don't interchange.

All REDHAWK (NOT Super Redhawk) grips are interchangeable, unless the gun has been modified, or is a special-run variant built at the factory with a slightly different grip frame.

If you have a standard Red, grips built for a standard Red should fit.

I like the one(s) in the lower left of the picture, but the ones in the upper center have a lot of nice grain showing.
Both those are nice!

are your grips natural or are they tinted ( dyed) or painted or coated??? I'd simply wipe them down with mineral spirits and put a bit of stain on them, or even simply just use Tru Oil....I like old antique furniture touch up stain we find at the old antique shops , much like Old English, just simply wipe on , cover up and add luster, and can darken or lighten........heck a good wood worker can make them ANY color you want............and yes, over the years we've had them from Ruger about every shade you could think of, and some straight grained walnut, and many others have lots of grain........

heck we even have a few here......................

They actually have a redish tint to them. Not a lot but enough to see the redness.
That one on the far left is a real beauty....well actually they are all pretty nice

Just thought I'd let you know that I got the grips and they are beauties.
Can't believe how well you packed them.
