Also didn't blow away part of the house.22LR shotshell on Copperhead out of a S&W kit gun. It never moved after the shot.
Not true the public defender just has a short barrel but it's huge compared to an sp-101.The judge is big and heavy but can work as a farm/truck/car/house gun. The federal 4-pellet 000 buckshot load is 4 multiple hits and has decent penetration. And worst case it’s a 5-shot .45 LC revolver.
But other than a home/vehicle gun for me it’s way too big. They make a public defender version which is about the same size as a sp-101 and shoots the same loadings which I think better for carry. They also make a polymer version of it.
Just a random thought. I wonder if you could turkey hunt with the long-barrel version using .410 TSS loads?
