recommend gunsmith to bob SP101 hammer

I would like recommendations for a gunsmith who can bob and checker the top tip of the hammer on my SP101. I would disassemble the revolver and mail the hammer only.

I am looking for a professional job as I am not that good with a Dremal yet.

Mark, Any local "competent" gunsmith can do this job professionally. Check around your local area...............Dick :wink:

Alan Harton did that exact thing to my SP. Bobbed it, reshaped it to not hang up in a pocket and checkered the tip so the thumb doesn't slide off. he did a great action job as well and installed S&W adjustable sights at the same time.
