RCBS FYI

I dunno. Checked all the common sources for parts, checked the RCBS website, searched google, and all said "sign up for an in stock notice".
Finally found a unit with plastic parts still in package but missing a different part(which I have from my broken one) and bought it.

RCBS makes some very good products but they have no problem making their old stuff obsolete and not replacing their spare parts cache which neutralizes their "limited lifetime warranty" necessitating a regular search on Ebay or other online sources to get spare parts. In my experience Hornady has the same problem.

At least one other company (like one whose name rhymes with mellon) stands by their warranty and will in my experience repair or replace old stuff for many decades after a product goes obsolete.

Yes, I bought another unit that was missing parts I still have. Worked out OK. That one had far less use than my older one so I just swapped parts until I have a nearly new complete unit.
Primed about 400 6.8 SPC and 6.5 Cr cases w/o further issues.;)
