Rare M77??

Story or not, I've never known of a 77 in .30-40 Krag.

I guess that’s assuming it is 30-40.
Curious the verification letter saying 257 is lost and that a pic of the box wasn’t included.

Be interesting to know though ……. Does label on the box have this guns s/n and 257 on it?
If so ….. is the label wrong or is the barrel mis-marked?
Or, is it really 30-40?
