Thought I had posted this earlier today, even did a search to find it.
Anyway, In the Classified section sometime back some nice rams horn grips were advertised. I shoulda bought a pair but didn't. Would really rather have a set fit to my Old Army grip frame anyway. Are any of the grip makers on the forum doing rams horn grips? I've searched with not much luck finding anyone currently making them.
So. If ya already have them on one or more Rugers......show them off!

A couple months ago Jantz Knife Supply had quite a few sets of rams horn blanks that were large enough for plow handle size grips. I purchased three sets myself. I intend on making grips for my own guns from them.

I checked their site a few days ago and all of those larger sizes are gone. They don't last long when they are available. You might keep a check on their site yourself. You would need a set at lest 2.125" in width. But, look at the pictures closely. You don't want to see one that is not as wide as the other one. You want them to at least look about the same size. As wide as you can get them is the best rule.

Good luck on finding some blanks. I got all my blanks from Giraffe Bone dot com but they partnered up with Jantz now and do not sell from their own site anymore. I think I've purchased about five sets so far from Jantz.

Ram's horn large enough for plow handle grips is not easy to come by.

Grashorn does them when he has horn available. Here's a couple I had and sold with guns. I have one set waiting for a custom 38-40 Vaquero coming from Bobby Tyler.

41 Mag Old Model Blackhawk with matching knives (it also had a matching fire striker):

OM 30 Carbine with knives:

The knives are Bark River from Knives Ship Free. I also have a Bowie to go with my 38-40.
