I puked all over my buddies brand new Grand National the last time I drank that
We drank it straight and done "flaming shots" ...
Quite possibly the drunkest that I've EVER been?...
He eventually forgave me...After about 10 years.
That was nearly 40 years ago now...And is NOT even close to the dumbest thing I done back then.

We had a Ordie thing called "HEI Alley" some called it "Gasoline Alley"........two rows of Bacardi 151 in shot glasses lit, with a pitcher of beer at the end. On the command "FIRE" Ordies on each side began downing the flaming shots......first one to the pitcher of beer had to chug it. You learned quick to blow out the flame with your nose so you didn't become a flame thrower.....the smell of burnt hair was usually in the air when the heavy mustache guys were playing.....

Not a claim- it's a fact. Mine is American made. It's a 1996 bottle. Way before the Beam merger, and certainly before the sellout to Japan.

Its still American made, just not owned by an American company.

Difference between 'sipping' whiskey and 'drinking' whiskey is how long it takes to get to the same goal(?).
Don't mind me, I quit consuming alcohol 6/7/1997 and still have most of a quart of McCormicks(sic) sitting on a shelf. It's wasn't much for sipping, but it certainly got one drunk and the hangover wasn't bad.
