Well, "The Stupid" kicked in mightily yesterday. As some may remember, I have been working toward compensating for what was a pretty quick eye dominance change. I worked with position of finger ion the trigger, stance, sighting, etcetera. Well, I also decided to try a different grip. I was using an LCP .380 close in at around 35 feet. and was too stupid to allow for circumstances with new grips. A shell flew out and nailed my cover hand, which was ( I believe) held too low. Helluva gash with blood just dripping off my finger. I WAS improving and felt that I was getting back, but had to go and take care of the damn thing. When one has a gun in hand one MUST concentrate on what they are doing and why. Geez, I feel like a jerk rookie.....
