Was browsing ebay for Herrett grips.
I do not need any, just bored.
Saw a listing for new Herrett Blackhawk grips. High dollars price tag.
Nice pictures of both panels of the STOCK RUGER Blackhawk grips with the Herretts box.
I try to be careful when shopping but wow double check any listings pictures.

PS I am not picking on the seller, he/she may not know the grips are incorrect.

Does Herrett still make grips? I have a few sets of their left handed target grips for the Mark II. They are very nicely made.

Are they still in business?

It happens a lot. People but aftermarket items and put the original stock units in the box. Someone buys a bunch of stuff at a garage or estate sale and does not know what they really have. It can actually work in your favor; I have seen some very desirable grips listed as Herrett, sile etc.

I benefited from the seller's mistake recently buying a very nice Dan Wesson wood grip sold in a Pachmayr package for $42. Obviously someone put a Pach on & put the DW grip in the package and advertised as a Pachy. The DWs go for @80-$100+

Herrett's doesn't offer very much in the way of revolver grips/stocks any more, and they no longer have anyone on staff to make grips fitted to your hand - unless I'm badly mistaken.
