Now that the 1-B is kaput, I can't remember what the barrel length was, 24 or 26 inches for a .25-06? Thanks gents.

The "B" had 26" barrels. The "V" in 25-06 have 24" barrels. The confusion might come from the short run of noncataloged 25-06s in "AH" and "AB" made for Lipseys. They have 24" barrels in the slimmer "A" configuration.

There are a few "S" rifles in 25-06 floating around. That's the same "B" barrel at 26" but with factory sights, the barrels are exactly the same in weight, length and contour.
