Question on Simmons scope.

I have a Simmons fixed power 24 x 40 mm AO target scope that was on a custom .17 cal Ruger 77 V flat bolt that I purchased used about 15 yrs ago.Overall length of said scope is 18 1/2".The rifle was built by a custom gunsmith from either Minn or Utah,now deceased by the name of Parks which was the name of the caliber, .17 Parks.I'm curious about the scope as I can't find "any" reference to it anywhere. Your thoughts.

A few years ago Simmons scopes was bought out by a co. by the name MEAD they made lenses for the large telescopes that look to the stars. they redesigned the adjustments in the scopes and called it a recker something, anyway I have a lot of them. Great scopes I have then on 375 H&H 300 WIN MAG and had one on a 460 win mag, sold the 460 to much rifle fer me anyway I have had NO PROBLEMS WITH THEIR SCOPES and they are a lot clearer than some of my more expensive scopes.
And they are a LOT cheaper than others.
