Question about VQ trigger kit

I have a MKlll Hunter, so if I get the VQ trigger kit for mklll and the bushing for the mk ll will that work or do I need to get the mk ll trigger kit.

If you are going to install the MkII or aftermarket bushing to eliminate the mag disconnect, you can use a MkII kit.

The same trigger and sear fits both the Mark II and III. The hammers are different. The Mark III hammer is recessed for the magazine safety, so you don't want that with a Mark II bushing.

I put the Mark II accurizing kit and hammer bushing in my Mark III. I got the newer kit with the stainless trigger.

The titanium disconnector, trigger plunger, and bolt release are also the same for Mark II or III.

I am interested in this also (98 - you answered to me in the MkIII accuracy thread-thanks again).

I want to make sure that I understand this before I order the kit -

A VQ MkII kit will fit a MkIII IF one replaces the bushing?

Also, where does one find the MkII bushing? It's not in the Brownell's catalog.

The Mark Two kit works in a Mark Three when the magazine disconnect has been replaced with the Mark Two hammer bushing. That's exactly what I have in my Mark Three.

You get the most benefit from the trigger, sear, and hammer. But, by the time you total up their separate prices, the whole kit is a very few dollars more.

They advertise the kit giving you a 2.25 lb trigger. I used the Ruger springs instead of the VQs in the kit, and that left my pull about 3 lb.. Just depends on what you want. I didn't use the extended bolt thumbpiece, either. Looked like it may be a bit rough on holsters.
