single six 3 screw question (Pics are up)

Nice. And that's weird about the cylinder recess both of mine are recessed and both are fluted.

The Magnums out of these are a whoot, loud report.

Mine mostly wears the Magnum cylinder, Brass Grip Frame and some simple dark cocabolo.

FWIW; A Magnum cylinder has a recess in the cylinder, whereas a Long Rifle cylinder has no recess.
One can shoot 22LR in a magnum cylinder but accuracy is deplorable, and not recommended.
I echo the comments from Star43, this is a very handsome revolver. I just love the use of two tone metals in a single-action revolver, and the dark grips really work well on this one. Very nice!

The .22 LR chambers are actually called charge holes because they are bored the same diameter straight thru (like black powder cap and ball revolvers) because .22s use a heeled bullet (a stepped design), with the outer diameter the same diameter as the outside of the case, the original cartridge design.

The mag chambers have a 'shoulder' in the chamber with a smaller diameter 'throat' ahead of the shoulder. The 22 mag uses a modern bullet design of a single diameter which is smaller in diameter than the case.
