Ruger cleaning kit

I recently got a Super Wrangler, which is now hers after she saw the Altamont Santos Rosewood grips for it. Anyway, just had an email of a good sale at Ruger and a 20% off for registering coupon to boot. Ordered some rosewood grips with emblems for $12 and a SW cleaning kit for $9. Then 20% off. Just arrived and the small cleaning kit is small. Guess I should have also laid a .22lr in it.

Got to pull out the Old Tape measure and hit the specifications page when ordering online nowadays. You wouldn't believe how small those stainless steel step on the pedal garbage cans can be made nowadays. Glad I only wanted it to go under the toilet paper roll.

That would be nice for taking with. I use the BoreSnake for that purpose. I see a downside to my method, no way of clearing a bore obstruction.

Yes, I'm not complaining at all. I like it. But I was surprised it is little more than a deck of cards size. But great for take along. And for about $7? win-win.

I was gifted one of these Ruger cleaning kits, it gets the job done. That little rimfire kit should be good enough and better than nothing.

Just on the Altamont site. Lots to choose from. I like Santos Rosewood best. The 3 sets I've gotten from them. My best half claimed the first set. And then my "our" Super Wrangler which now with those grips is my "her" Super Wrangler. Photo below showing them mounted and my set, second set, on my original large frame Vaquero. "Her" SW is what the cleaning kit is for. Third set is on a .41M Blackhawk, not pictured.

Looks like two different size brushes. Is the bronze brush for the .32 Mag?

Looks like two different size brushes. Is the bronze brush for the .32 Mag?

TBH I haven't closely examined it but pretty sure it's all .22LR gear. Next time I get it out I'll check more closely.
