Question about rust removal

I just got my new sp101 a few weeks ago, and I noticed when cleaning it the first time that there is a little bit of rust on one of the rough areas that can only be seen when the cylinder is swung out. I don't know how to describe the area much better than that, but it is on part of the frame, and like I said, it is on one of the areas that is left kind of rough. How should I go about removing the rust? If it were on a more open surface I feel it would be easier, but given the crevice that it is in, I'm not sure what I should put in there to try and get rid of it. I could use some help on this one.

Never Dull wadding works very well on stainless as does a bronze bristle brush with some Hoppes.

the "rough" areas on the inside of the cylinder frame are from the castings, and yes, if left "unoiled" can get a bit of rust, nature fo the beast and comes under general "maintainance"...just a bit of any "rust" type oil, and a bit of steel wool or bronze wool or even an old brass cleaning brush, and scrub away, you'll be OK............keep things oiled..............
