Never heard of that and how odd! Cragars aren't even mags. Who says "mags" for wheels anyway? Very few selections in the '60's and '70's were actually magnesium. I digress ...

Off topic but I sure get wadded up when someone refers to wheels as rims. The rim is part of the wheel. The wheel is the whole.

FWIW, I once saw an interview with the CEO of Jeep in which he said, "We don't make SUVs. We make four wheel drive off road vehicles."

I would argue that it's the other way around. Jeep was a generic and then became a brand. Kinda like "Duck Tape."
