Quite often, we see folks here asking for additional prayers for a loved one, or friend. I asked many years ago, for Miss Penny, and a few years back for my DIL. Both of which involved cancer.

Well, I'm asking again.

I have a "brother from another mother" whom I literally grew up with from about birth. Our moms, our siblings & all of us are very close. There are 4 kids in his family, and 3 in mine. And my older brother & his older brother,, close to the same age, and friends. His older sister, & my older sister, the same. And my "bro",, he & I are only a few months different in age.
Some of y'all may recall I've occasionally mentioned having a friend who retired as a Federal LEO. He was US Customs which later turned into ICE. Well, that's my bro.
His last several years with ICE,, he was a computer forensics expert, working on the illegal import of child porn. He has a severe dislike of child exploiters & molesters. Suffice it to say,, he was VERY good at his job. After retirement from ICE,, he has been working as a private sector computer expert.
Well, yesterday,, we were supposed to get together with some of his family & attend a FoNRA event. He called me & said he was headed to the hospital, for some tests & such. He tried to assure me it wasn't too bad, but I know he's been having issues. His son, DIL & a few others from his family did attend the event last night. His son & I talked some,, and apparently, they admitted him last night, for observation & more tests.
He's having serious kidney issues. And he's diabetic.
He's not telling me how serious things are yet,, but his son did allow more than he has.

So,, I'm politely asking for all who will, add my bro, Bryan, to your prayer list please.

Hi,

Prayers come from SoCal for you friend, Ty, as well as all of you around him.

One of my old shooting buddies has been suffering similar diabetes/kidney problems for several years now. That's serious business and I hope your friend gets the best of care.

UPDATE;
Well, sorta. Bryan called me this evening. He's still in the hospital, and of all goes well, he may get to go home tomorrow. His kidney tests,, I can't remember what he called it,,, said his numbers were too high. But they appear to be coming down. He has an appointment with a kidney specialist on the 25th, and he will learn more.
With his diabetes,, his past medical history of back & hip issues, this is just another blow to his well being. He told me he's so frustrated at his inability to do anything, or get stuff fixed to where he can just try & live halfway normal. He's also somewhat depressed,, as he knows all this is very serious & it could be his end.
I was the first one he called this evening,, and even his kids & wife haven't been called yet.

So, to all of my Ruger family,, I truly appreciate ALL the prayers & well wishes.

Thanks gramps. I'm not up to speed on medical terms for the kidney issues,, but I think his "creatin"???"(spelling???) numbers were what got so high.
