With 6.3 gr. of Power Pistol I was seeing 720-750 FPS with the 230 gr. Berry Bullet out of my
Springfield XD-E 3.3 inch barrel.
770-794 FPS out of my Ruger 1911 Cmd.

With 6.0 gr. Unique 760-785 using same bullet out of the XD-E...
and 800-820 FPS out of Ruger 1911.

Guess the Power Pistol sweet spot might be 6.5 ?

Anyway I easily wore out the center of the target today!

Yep...you have to keep those rounds in the center or an ERROR code comes up or worst yet your chrony
takes a hit! Great trigger and sight training too!

Looks like you've found at least a couple nice loads for this pistol. And they (and you)
certainly are putting those rounds where they belong. Thanks for a nice report here.

Quick question: how is the pistol's recoil? In other words, can you put 'em all where
they belong at a decent rate of fire? I'm curious because I went ahead and purchased
the same pistol in 9mm, based on it's incredible accuracy for such a small handgun,
and also, its sweet trigger pull. And now, I'm thinking about a .45acp "big brother" XD-E
for the 9mm XD-E. That way girlfriend can have the 9mm and we can have domestic
harmony again. - DixieBoy

Recoil isn't bad and is less than my Charter Arms .44 Bulldog.
The picture in my opening post is with carefully aimed shots 10 ft from target during my chrony testing.
This picture was on my second session with the XD-E after a slight sight adjust and getting used to the trigger....shots in red zone.
Shots to the right of red zone were first shots fired from the gun. Target distance was 20 ft.
