Possible trigger pull causing failure to eject on SR9C?

I've had the SR9C about a month now. Great little gun, shoots fantastic. I've probably put about 500 rounds through it, but the one thing I noticed is that one of my kids has at least one failure to eject on almost every magazine he shoots. Now there have been 5 different people shooting who have shot it, and it always happens to my one son and no one else. He's somewhat recoil shy and a lefty, but loves to shoot it. Could the failure to eject be caused by the way he's pulling the trigger? I'm no gunsmith, so I thought I'd ask.

It sounds like he's limp wristing. Make sure he is using a firm, high grip.

Possibly a poor grip not providing enough resistance to recoil, causing the slide to short stroke as it has to chase down the frame during recoil.

Possibly his thumb rubbing the slide although I would think he would notice that.

Most definitely a limp-wrist scenario. When someone else shoots your gun and produces a FTE, a limp wrist (poor grip) is culprit. Like said above, just firm up the grip.

The SR (striker fired) pistols are capable of limp wristing, I've purposely limp wristed in an attempt to replicate the issue with test parts (guide rods, internals, etc...)

Thanks for the responses. I'll definitely tell him to grip the pistol with a tighter grip. Always looking for a good excuse to take the kids shooting.
