I've carried for a lot of years, and have become convinced of several things.
1. Dress to the way you are going to carry, OR carry to the way you dress. I am very consistent in the way I dress, and that's with my shirt out.
2. It's important to carry in the same place daily. At some point you may have to go on automatic and if you have to THINK about where your gun is, it's slows you down. People who aren't used to carrying are sometimes past the need because they forgot they had their gun with them.
3. It's important to carry with proper gear. That includes a good belt and a proper holster. I use a good heavy 1-3/4" belt and predominately Simply Rugged holsters, although there's an excellent holster builder here and I have 5 or 6 of his holsters and like them very well.
4. Consistent with carrying in the same place for years I've carried OWB at a 3:00 position, and since both of my shoulders have injuries it's in a convenient spot to be able to get a hold of my gun with out pain. It's also important to PRACTICE getting a good, consistent, grip on your gun. Grip is the master, (it's critical to have a consistent grip), sights are critical (I call it muscle memory) otherwise you won't bring your gun up high enough to see the sights. Practice dry firing. That's the nice thing about the Taurus G2c and G3c and they both allow you second strike capabilities. I find light switches are a handy "target" and about the right height, and using a 2 hand grip. Don't let me see you using a cup and saucer grip.

A smooth trigger is what brings it together.
