I know this would fit better under the gun maintenance section, but I wanted to try it here thinking the traffic/views would be higher.
I have a much loved Glock 36 in .45 acp. It is my favorite carry choice.
It has never liked Hornady 185gr XTP's. Regular jamming on ramp.
Feed ramp has always looked smooth but after shooting it always had a pretty good smear of copper jacket. I have polished many 1911's but never thought about doing the same to the Glock.
Rainy day, bored, Dremel, Flitz. Now super shiny feed ramp.
It now feeds XTP's 100%
No smear of copper jacket. Amazing.
Many vids on YouTube showing how it is done if you have never tried it.
Very small effort for a fantastic improvement
