PMC Brass?

Anyone have experience good or bad reloading for .44 Special with PMC brass?

I have used PMC brass for a long time. Including using it as "match" brass for my USPSA 45 acp, & my 40 S&W. No problems here.

I have loaded lots of PMC brass,but not in .44 sp. , it all has been very good brass.
I bought a case of PMC .223 55gr. Fmj just to get the brass to reload. The factory ammo is some of the most accurate factory ammo I have shot in my three AR's.

I found the wall thickness of PMC brass in 44spl is thicker than anyone's I've used.
This has not been a detriment, just something I found out experimenting while exaggerating the flare on the cases.

What little I've used of the PMC brass, I've had no problems with.

Hi,

I must be the odd man out here, because I've loaded a lot of PMC .38 Spl and .357 Mag but never fell in love with it: the combo of softer brass with the rough chambers of my Ruger Bisley produced a lot of stuck cases with loads that caused no problems using other brass in that gun (BOTH calibers!) The guys at Ruger had a reasonably good day when they built my GP, and it's done ok with the PMC.

OTOH, PMC .223 brass has worked as well as others in an AR and Savage bolt action we've tried it in. So, yes, PMC works if that's what you've got, but whenever the other "big" names are available, I prefer to buy them.

Only have experience with .357 PMC brass. No issues at all.

for what it's worth... i have a bunch of pmc brass in .308, and it's as good as anything out there. quite heavy, and very durable. i've reloaded these ~10 times, and they show absolutely no sign of giving it up.
