Payton Manning is dead to me!

Funny how some people choose their beer by what side of the fence they vote on, rather than whether the beer they drink is good or not. Not sayin' Budweiser is a good tasting beer...I drink Ultra myself. to each his own! It's called FREEDOM, not having to follow others if one does not want to.

The only time I ever actually enjoyed Bud (in long necks) was years ago along with raw oysters..... but now I feel like I've matured over the ages and I'll pretty much only eat them with a Guinness stout. I could never respect someone who actually drank Bud Lite regardless of their sexual or political leanings....

I just wish Budweiser would bring back the frog commercials. ...and I don't think Budweiser is woke. It's just another thing to get crazy about.
Wasn't Miller bought out by some South American conglomerate a couple of years ago? As long as something is made in this country I won't have a problem with it.

I think the point here is that we, as consumers can only make a difference in the big picture when we voice our opinions with our wallets. When a company decides to use their "popularity" to become political,, then that's the only way we can truly make them listen. Stop buying products, write letters, and let others know why you are doing so by using as much social media as you use to voice your feelings. Then when a company sees a sudden & large loss of revenue, very public rejection on social media,, which is followed by the stock market loss of that company's stock,, THEN,, they listen.

I'm sure many gun owners would be shocked at the money QUIETLY given to causes that want to remove our Second Amendment rights by people we see on TV, in sports, or other very publicly advertised things. It's the QUIET ones who CHOOSE to support their personal causes that hurts us the most.

That said,, I too try HARD to not support any company or personality individual who is anti-gun, "woke" or other things I disagree with. Why add to their pocketbooks with my hard earned money to see them doing things I disagree with.

Just curious...did the Bud Lite go political or were they politicized?

I think that someone in the Budweiser hierarchy decided to use that person (the transgender guy) to try to appeal to the alphabet people and it backfired BIG time. So now, someone else in the hierachy saw the light and said maybe we can pay a popular person (Peyton) to help get us out of the muck that XXX created and lost us huge amounts of money. I wonder where the person that dcided to cater to the alphabet people is now?

There was a news story about it after the fact. I don't remember the exact details , but it was some woman who made the decision on her own. She was in the marketing dept. if I remember right she was new and just promoted to this role.

She didn't have some secret agenda. And it wasn't anything political. It was taken the wrong way by the beer drinkers of America.

Just a mistake of not knowing your customer.

And yeah, Cholo is right. She didn’t last very long.

she is only partly to blame, she certainly is the fall gal ! make no mistake here, it was only her job title. that corporation has been pushing the multi culture BS on the public for years. ever notice there ads? always a mixed blend familys BS. clearly pushing the white family in dead. its right in front of you to see. if you choose to want to see it. I personally resent it....its not a racist or biased issue for me. its being push in my face I resent. FNC

Contender is right... a company should not go political regardless of which direction that is.... I'm pretty sure those here who want to boycott a product because of a companies affiliation with something they see is against their beliefs... it they delved far enough into anything they buy they would be lost and not be able to purchase anything or survive....

...but it was some woman who made the decision on her own.
No, she said in her own words she was given a mandate from above, meaning there were others involved, and then mocked Bud Lite drinkers, the best selling beer in America. Dylan Mulvaney didn't sink Anheuser-Busch, Alissa Heinerscheid did sink it all by herself with this disgusting video after the fact. If she'd have kept her big fat WOKE yap shut... Here it is again: 1:04 1:04 really sank Anheuser-Busch. Words!

no....it was NOT her! she's only the mouth piece for the corporate push to woke. (do you really think she went out there without permission) she was only the fall gal....
She made that pod cast I linked to all by herself. That wasn't authorized by AB. They might have survived the Mulvaney fiasco, but not when she ran her mouth about in that video. She was not authorized to blurt that out, even if her execs agreed with that mindset.

Really -- what makes Bud Light or Peyton Manning worth discussing? Nothing. Wasted and silly thread.
I agree and disagree, what they say really don't matter to me, but the pushing of the corporation woke agenda apon the weak minds of the lemmings. is worth discussing. without discussing it, is about equal to allowing it embedding in the fabric of society. and that's has tragic outcome.

Manning has been a money Whore for some time now.......bud light commercial just proves it beyond a doubt
He's a sports celebrity who also happens to do a LOT of good things with his millions, including funding a major Children's Hospital in Indianapolis, that also happens to bear his name...If Bud paid him to endorse their undrinkable, watered down, over-commercialized swill, he'll get no grief whatsoever from me about it.

Haven't seen the commercial. Would it normally be seen while watching the America hating, flag disrespecting NFL?

If so, I'll not likely see it.

Way bigger things to consider than a phreak on a beer can IMO.

Don't forget that Emmitt Smith is in the commercial too.

Bud is trying to bring back one of their brands that their woke hires tried to destroy. I don't drink commercial beer, so this is an interesting business story to me, nothing more.

Now that I think about it I have to say I think this was all planned,,... remember New Coke? I had a friend that worked at the Atlanta Constitution and flat out knew for a fact that it was a major corporate mistake and certain high ups in the company were fired for creating New Coke.... 20+ years later it is obvious... this is how they switched to high futose corn syrup in Classic Coke.

This whole Bud Lite fiasco was planned..... I guarantee you.... Sam Eliot or someone will start being the spokesMAN and they will sell even more of that gosh awful fake beer.... that is pretty much like having sex in a canoe..... close to water....
