Can anyone help me with the model number?

Anyway, it came with the Ruger box and several mags - one AMT mag, one Ruger mag, and two stainless Ramline mags. Gun has mods done - VQ trigger, mag release extender, slide release extender. Picked it up from a pawn shop for $450. I know not that great a deal, but I have a thing for Mark IIs.

That makes three Mark IIs.

That is a nice looking gun. True the grips aren't original but they are Ruger factory grips. I have a set like them albeit left handed on a Mark II pistol. I think the grips were around 50 bucks back then. I think you got a good deal. It wasn't a steal but a fair price. I bought one last year for $425.

Nice!! I have been watching for a stainless 6" standard MKII but never find anything at the local gun shows or pawn shops.

The grips were added by the previous owner. The gun came with the standard black plastic grips in the box.

I think that your model is a KRST-6.
Sorry but there is no such thing. RST is the model number for the Ruger Standard Auto, sometimes referred to as a MK-I, which they are not. Ruger never made a Stainless Steel Standard pistol with a 6 in. bl. The only Standard Stainless Steel gun that Ruger made was their Signature model, with William B. Ruger signature rollmarked on the left side of the receiver. For some reason Ruger never called it a KRST-4 but used the model number RST-4S. With Ruger go figure!!!! As stated above the correct model number for a 6 in. Stainless Steel MK-II is KMK-6.

Ok. I haven't been able to locate a gun like yours but I was able to pick up a MKII KMK-6 barreled receiver which I put on my MKII 22-45 frame. It works for me.
