Hit a LGS today and something just tripped my trigger about this thing. I even left the shop had lunch and turned around to grab it. Used/NIB for under $400.

Didn't even notice until I got home the scope base it 30 MOA. Being a primarily hand gunner/archer, I'm at loss for glass to put on this. Ideas?

The reason for that is the objective would be so high off the barrel, you would lose elevation adjustment in your scope. Looks like it would be at least 1" above the barrel. 30 MOA may be a bit much, may want to consider 20 MOA rail and Burris Signature rings, they have adjustable sleeves to add or take away MOA. I would get a scope with at least 100 MOA elevation adjustment, and limit the objective bell to 50 mm. You want it about 1/4 " above the heat shield, you may have to play a bit with ring height, but I would start with a medium ht. I use Signature rings on all my long range rifles. I have a 6.5mm Swede, Rem 700 action that has the scope base holes drilled a bit out of alignment. I use the Signature rings to kick it back in line.

That is a nice looking set-up!

I owned one of these, and it was the most accurate rimfire rifle I've ever owned... by far!

But as is my habit, I sold it. I wanted instead, the American Rimfire Target, which I have yet to ever see. So now I'm left with none.:(

I installed this inexpensive scope as an initial experiment. It worked so well, I never tried another. And I cannot even tell what scope this was.

Match the scope to the type target & the range you intend to play at. But if you ever plan to shoot at ranges below 40 or 50 yards you'll be better served with a scope that has the parallax set low or has an adjustable one that will go low.
Target knobs or railroad track looking long range reticles? your choice, but handy for long range fun.
