Well, I'm now the oldest in our family since my Mom passed a couple weeks ago and I inherited a bunch of guns my Dad and Granddad had acquired over time and was still kept in the family, and one of the firearms I got was my Granddad's Mark II Target 10" bull barrel w/Leupold M8-4X Extended ER scope. The gun does have a couple very small surface rust spots in the bluing, but nothing serious that some oil and a good rubbing won't take away. I'd say it's as close to looking about new for a 1989 build date as one'll get for how high the humidity can be here in Missouri. I should say this is the blued model.
Also got a very nice 10/22 stainless w/laminate stock along with some of the inherited guns.
I'm sad, but also very happy. I'll be cleaning and oiling guns for 3-4 days I reckon.
