I want to replace the front sight on a Single Six 32 and a Stainless Bisley 45 Colt with a Patridge style sight. Looking for options.

Single six is the easiest as any of the screw on front sights from the mk series autos, 10 1/2" super Blackhawks will drop right on.

Stainless Blackhawks have the benefit of pinned blades. Bowen sells blanks you can shape as you please, and the factory blade can be reshape do to resemble Keith's #5 as well. This one didn't come out so well but you get the idea.

I'm partial to the patridge sight on the k frame target masterpieces and fit one to my shorty 44. They mounting piece is narrower than the Ruger blade so it needed a shim on either side to keep it still but I really like the way it came out. Made up another using a stainless Blackhawk base drilled for a mounting screw to use on the matching single ten project I'm finishing up now. Little high for stock sights, but changing to a higher blade on the bowen rear should sort it out.
