I have big hands. After getting my P94-40 I cut the spur off the hammer. With each shot my hand got pinched between the beavertail and the hammer spur. It was an easy fix.
Before I buy a P95 I would like to know if I'll have to do the same. Arethe beavertail and hammer on the P95 identical to the P94?
Thanks.

I have both the 944 and 95 and if there's difference, it is negligable. So they'd be the same for you. But I have to wonder, just how big your hands are to be pinched by the hammer. Reading your handle, MedicYeti, pretty much gives a clue. The 944 must look like a Walther PPK/S in your mitts.

Had the same problems when I had a P97 years ago. I grip my guns really high and after a box or two of ammo the web of my hand would be all red from the hammer slapping me. Eventually the P345 cured all of that. The grip is contoured a bit more and the hammer is bobbed. Problem solved.
