P94DC Hammer Strut

Hi everyone new here and to working on guns. I was swapping out hammer springs going with a 19lb one and i turned the frame over to let the spring fall and the strut also fell out. Now i cant figure out how it goes back into place. Any help is very appreciated.

Well, Iv'e never had to mess with this, but the parts break down shows the direction the top portion needs to be to engage the hammer. https://ruger-docs.s3.amazonaws.com/_manuals/pSeries.pdf (pg. 36)

Welcome.
This goes together pretty easy. Just wiggle the strut until it falls in place then slide the spring in and push / pin the cap in place.
