Bought a used P91DC and noticed that in cocking it in single action mode, the trigger bar does not come up and you pull the trigger just a tad(1/16th of an inch) and it pops up....is this a problem and if so, how can it be repaired?

Have you cleaned the gun? Take the grips off and feild strip it and sprayer down. Wipe it up and spray again. Work the action while wet and be sure to get all the little dirt out as best as you can.

Also try it with the mag out to see if that effects anything.

Let us know how it turns out.

Oh, welcome to the site. Where did you get the 91? Short lived production on that one. congrats!

Thanks for the reply,,,The gun has been cleaned 100% thru and thru. Grips removed, ect. Still the same problem. The gun was purchased from a dealer in Aiken SC used.

I'm trying to remember how the internals work together. After rereading your post I think you will be fine. I have a P94 that does this from time to time but it doesn't effect anything as far as I can tell. I'm not a gunsmith by any means but have taken a few of the P-guns apart.

Have you actually fired it or just dry fire? I'm betting it is nothing to worry about as long as the trigger bar sets correctly before you finish the trigger pull.

You could bring it to the dealers attention and see what their opinion is.
