P90 Questions

Long time lurker with a few questions about the P90.
1. Is there a discription here or elsewhere on the internet that descibes how to do trigger work on one. I see disassmbling and carefully smoothing surfaces is the primary method but wonder if there is a written 'how to"/
2. Any pictures available of customized P90's if they exist. I saw one earlier on the forum that was a nice custom refinish that I liked.
I am in need of a .45acp but don't really want to spend $1000 on a 1911, don't care for the Sigs or HK's, tried the Glock's. Would like to go back to the tried and true Ruger brand of which I have several but no P series.
Any help/information is appreciated.

You can polish off the rough spots and change to wolf springs and it helps. Since I carry mine and wanted it done right, I had Teddy Jacobson (Actions by T) do an action job on mine. He dropped the DA pull from 14lb to 9lb and the SA pull from 4 to 3 1/2. I have never had a FTF of any kind with it. The Action is as smooth as silk. I also had him to do a P97. For a Carry Gun, I feel like it is well worth what he charges, and it makes them a lot more fun to shoot, and more accurate, due to the easier pull.

Easiest way to smooth the trigger on a P90 is to dry fire the snot out of it, and shoot it, a lot.

I don't know if it qualifies as custom, but I have two top ends for my P90.
It was a blued safety model to begin with. I got a stainless decoker top end and most of the lower parts (minus the receiver) off an auction sight.
I cleaned up the rough areas and blasted the stainless slide, then installed night sights on it. The frame got aftermarket grips. I also swapped out the innards of all my 8 round magazines with 7 round stuff.

Hopefully, P90 will post photos of his engraved pistol.
