OMBH hammer removal

I recently purchased a 357 mag OMBH that has some discoloration and roughness on the hammer up near the end...I'd like to polish it up a bit even though I understand that is a fairly common situation....I suppose I could just tape off the lower part of the hammer and hammer slot in the gun and use my Dremel with a wheel and some stainless wheel polish or something but I'd prefer to pull the hammer and gently clean it all up....Is there a written (with pictures) or a you tube tutorial on the removal of the hammer on an OM? I don't intend to do any other work but just cosmetically cleaning up the hammer...I'm reasonably ok with mechanical repairs if they are not to complex and can follow instructions..thanks

PS I've NEVER cut coils off a mainspring. I've added stronger springs, though..........

please, NO power hand tools, you will "round off and dish' all them "flat spots".......remove it properly and lay in on a hard surface, on some fine emery paper, go north and south ( top to bottom) vice ,versa.....

Here is some advice that helped me through my first Old Model dis-assembly! :lol:

OM instructions for disassembly of unloaded revolver.

Remove cylinder. Remove grips. Pull hammer back and lock mainspring with cross pin.

Remove all screws. Gently shake revolver......

That's it.
