Can some one tell or better yet show me the difference between the new model
and old model hammers ? Thank you in advance.

The easiest thing to be able to tell if a hammer is an OM vs a NM is the face of the hammer. An OM has a totally flat face and a NM has step down notches for the safety transfer bar. Smooth & flat = Om,, Notched,,= NM.

Thank you . I have a hammer and just wanted to know which it was. I bought all the internal part from a single six from a guy in Canada that had to get rid of it due the law in Canada. This was about 4-5years ago.

The old model safety conversion hammers also have the step down notches.

Left old model, center old model safety conversion, right new model. Of course these are all from .45's just a little bigger than single sixes.

Well thank you. I have the internal parts of a single six but didn't know if they came from the nm or om. I guess they are from the new model. Thank you for your help. Bob

There's more parts and pieces in the New Model lockwork than there is in the Old. The NM and the "Conversion" designs have triggers with an extended "transfer bar" link and have, of course, the Transfer Bar.

The OM triggers are "slim and trim" w/o the link.
