I don't know who 'Dave S' is/was, but he sure had good taste in Ruger Blackhawks.... Those OM 10 inchers shoot VERY well especially if Andy had anything to do with it :) CONGRATS

yes Dave S who was 'cherokee' here on this forum was a good friend and used Andy many times over the years,,,had the 10 inch done on both an old model 357 and this OM 44 flatop....and our other passed friend Tom P. USMC and great guy loved the long barrels and his ammo guy over here, John G.,used to shoot with him all the time, always wanted a 10 inch 45 caliber ,had the factory 10 in guns old models and New ones...John saw this 45 Friday night and its now living with him , with a few "other" OM 45s that were 'cherokees',,,,,in GOOD hands, GOOD home...so since Cherokees passing, end of last year till now all his guns are moved on except for one more 30 carbine, and 4 boxed BKH-45s, 2 reg., and 2 convertibles...May he rest in peace, hope he is meeting up with all the others 'passed on' from this forum the past few years.....

( and YES Andy Horvaths guns ALL shot awesome...... 8)
