At LGS serial #58xx . At least 90%. 6 1/2" ,no box. Priced at $1100. Is that in the ballpark? THANKS! Randall

I consider the old .44 magnum flattops a real bargain in the $700 to $800 dollar range as there are only about 25,000 of them.

P.S., I own 4 of them.

I also feel that an old model 6.5" .44 should have a value of $700.00 to $800.00, but no more than that with condition of 90%.

Allowing for the fact that markets vary, that seems at least a few hundred high. Were it new-in-box with all papers, and I never planned to shoot it, maybe, maybe -- but who am I kidding? I buy 'em to shoot.

Only my opinion, Colt SAA w/ 4 3/4" is most desirable, Ruger Black Hawk 4 5/8" is most desirable to me anyhow. The 6 1/2" 44 Magnun Black Hawk is the most desirable to me, unless I could latch on to an original 4 5/8" .44.

well i have bought two of these early 44 flat tops this year...one was a 75% 6.5" early 4 digit serial number for 540.00 shipped and was able to find while the other one was in the mail..a 90% 7.5" that looks like it is new...shows no signs of being shot...for 555.00 but did have two holes for a scope...1100.00 seems very high to me too...are they negotiable?...i would say a very good price would be maybe 700 or a little more depending on how bad u want it...God Bless,John....there was quite a few on here for sale recently....
