Hi, all -
So...I want to build a carbine chambered for .454 Casull. The problem is, the high pressure of the round eliminates a lot of options (lever action, autoloader) and the shape of the cartridge is problematic for a bolt action (or so I was told).
I was wondering about starting with a SRH revolver and turning it into a carbine. I don't imagine getting a barrel made would be too tough. The stock might be another story, though.
Has anyone here heard of people doing anything like this? Any suggestions/ideas about how to create a rifle stock for this gun?
Thanks.
