road south of 17/285 intersection headed east towards the Valley View Hot Springs & Orient Land Trust area.
I love going to Valley View anytime we can get away to do it.

Deer were in BACA right by main gate, Antelope was by the entrance to Valley View, mountain pics were taken west of Saguache looking back east towards Crestone. Combo of the snow and sunset colors was amazing

I'm west of 285 up LL56 toward Bonanza. Lots of the same views. Wouldn't live anywhere else.

I am going to guess those were pretty recent??? I flew from Chicago to Seattle today. Nothing like watching out the window as you aproach the rockies from Eastern Montana. Still very little snow---just a skiff on the very tops of the divide, followed by cloud cover the rest of the way.
