Many years ago I rented a house with a beautiful inground swimming pool, and it was when my kids were young but old enough to enjoy that pool. For the first month or so they were in the pool most of every day, but it didn't take too long that they wanted to go to a more public pool where many other kids were present (I was in the military and we had access to the pool at the Officer's Club). Even when my kids pretty much stopped using our pool I still had the maintenance work to keep it clean and fit for use. If I won a lottery where I could afford to have a nice pool but where someone else did ALL of the working maintaining it, I might consider getting one, but other than that its no more pools for me.
