I thought I would order a letter for some of my Rugars. .22 standard, 44 superblackhawk and 44 carbine. One day when I want to sell it may help with the value. Took a closer look at the standard and it turns out to be the bicentennial model. Nice little surprise.
And yes, I have the two magazines with the silver bottom. I believe that is what they came with.

Nice gun, and will clean up, all the ones we got back then came with only ONE magazine, and if you bought or got an 'extra' it came in a white box......;)

here is a "progression" of the Mark I (M-10) magazines/packaging......
middle two may be switched???;)

I can't even remember who I bought it from. I "think" from a friend for about $150 35 years or so ago. I also have a MK 2 government target bull barrel that I usually shoot. That is untill they came out with the MK 4 and after seeing the hunters special, had to get one.

Short money got all steel back then. Had one back around 86. Forgot what I paid but wasn't much. probably around $160 or less. Never a feed issue we read often these days. Nice to have a special one.
