Newly acquired GP100

I recently fell into the best gun purchase I have ever made.
I picked up this pistol for under $100 from someone who wanted it out of their house.
I don't know much about the GP100 and haven't had a chance to fire it yet but I will soon.
Fixed sights, Stainless Steel and from my quick research I belevie it was made in 1990 but have to verify that.
I know I got an "outstanding" deal.

Here is the cylinder, you can barely see a ring from the cylinder being turned. This pistol has not been shot very much

That is exactly the revolver I will be on the hunt for in the near future, a fixed site four incher, one that I will convert to DAO.

Yea, I know I "stole" it, but I asked twice about the price and the answer was the same twice. Seller was happy and I was happy(er)!
I didn't place any pressure on the seller, they approached me knowing I had a huge gun collection and offered it for sale (Cash!) A nice "private" transaction.
I will clean it soon & take it to the range.

I know. I hope that you recognized that I was joshing. I was talking to one of our church members a month ago or so whose adullt son had been asked to clean out an elderly woman's garage and while he was doing so, he discovered a Honda Goldwing under a tarp and inquired about it. She told him that it had been her late husband's and when he asked what she wanted for it she told him that it probably needed new tires and some other things so if he didn't think that $300 was too much, she was willing to take it. It really didn't need tires immediately and he gave her the $300 dollars and drove it away (fast, I suspect). I saw the bike a couple of weeks ago and it it a beauty; probably worth at least $10,000 (perhaps much more). I offered to hear his confession too. :lol: No absolution though if he didn't give me a ride. :twisted:
