New Wrangler.

Not a bad revolver. My LGS only had the green one, but in the 4.6" barrel which is what I wanted. Shoots good, but I was at the rifle range and could only shoot at 25 yards. Target looked like a shotgun with everything left of center. I know they're not known for competition-grade accuracy lol, so I'm looking forward to shooting it at closer ranges to see how it does. Pretty well made revolver for $200. Grips are a bit on the flat side for my largish hands, so might look for something a bit more meatier. Painted the front sight white to get some visual contrast on the target. Here's some gratuitous pics...

nice gun and with a little practice ,find out just where your point of impact is on the paper target, and any other color than white (too much glare) on your front sight you should be good to go........(y)(y)

Grips are a bit on the flat side for my largish hands, so might look for something a bit more meatier.

Lots of "normal" Ruger grips fit like these I refinished for my unfired Wrangler.

I ended up making my own grips to get the fit I wanted on my Super Wrangler. These Wranglers are fun.

Mine will shoot as accurately as I can hold. It will stay on a pine cone out to 15 yards in my 15 yard shots or less. My sight shoot centered and about an inch high. I just hold a bit low and all is good.

The Wrangler's are fun shooters. I have both, the alloy model and the Super Wrangler to play with. Haven't shot the alloy model as yet, since I get great satisifaction from the SW as it shoots both LR and Magnum if I want to go that route.

I bought two when they first came out wasn’t initially impressed but after a hundred or so rounds they really came around to being good shooters,had to tinker with the safety plate kept getting hung up poor design and the cylinder pins were to short Ruger sent me new ones for each gun after those issues were fixed guns are flawless shooters.they have become very consistent on accuracy.

The Wranglers are exactly what Ruger intended them to be. An affordable entry into SA handguns,, using the least expensive ammo, (for non-reloaders,) and are accurate enough to truly enjoy.
Plus,, they harken back to the original roots of Bill Rugers start. Make an affordable quality gun people can afford,, using different manufacturing methods than "standard" at the time.

I can say that the Wrangler I have & enjoy does quite well.

Couple weeks back, picked up a Wrangler. Liked shooting it, so quickly added a set of Chig's black micarta grips with medallions. Like any Chig's grips the fit was precise and the finish is excellent.

Tried 7 types of ammo in this, some grouped little left, some grouped not at all, but CCI round nose, Stingers and Yellow Jackets grouped center. This is a fun little gun to plink with. Just got to find the right ammo the gun wants to shoot.

If your looking for a target gun you picked the wrong gun they are good for goofing off thats about it,I have two Wrangles at 10 yards hard to keep in a 4 inch circle but at 7 yards they do ok ,a lot of flyers no mater what ammo i use SK,CCI,Federal Gold,but still a fun gun.

My Wrangler & my Super Wrangler both are more accurate than that. I get 4" groups at 25 yds. Even a little better if I truly work at it.

Help me out a little bit. Love the micartas. Tried Chig's website and saw nothing like them. Do you have to go to Facebook which I don't use?

No, I emailed him and he said he could order a set of micarta blanks in for the Wrangler. They are quality for sure.
