New SR9

The first trip to the range we had some failure to return to battery, a few stovepipes and a few feed problems. Overall it was OK. After a couple hundred more rounds, the return to battery problem resolved itself, no stovepipes, but still a couple of feed problems.
I noticed that mag hangs down about a 16th of an inch and if it jams on feed, tap the mag up and it loads. The question would be, how much verticle play should the mag have?
There was also a burr on the bottom of the ramp which I polished off. Hope that helps too.

a 16th of an inch is about what I see with mine. I haven't had any feeding problems - or any other problems for that matter - with mine....

Thanks for your feedback Ski. We'll be goin' to the range this week and I'll try some different ammo.

Polish the ramp to a mirror finish too. Lots and lots to read about the SR9 here, look at the sticky at the top of this forum, good info there.
