New SR9

I just picked up my new black Sr9. Does anyones else have casting pits around the barrel opening?

I traded my stainless slide SR9c (unfired week old) for a new SR9c blackened slide today. The slide has one tiny, maybe .001 size hole/pit at 1 o'clock when looking at barrel. Never would have seen it without your post.

I have never looked at mine that closely.
I do not care, my SR9c & 40 just WORK.

No casting pits around the barrel opening, but a bit of the blackening has chipped off of my black stainless SR9. I don't worry about it,the rest of the pistol performs flawlessly.

Had some casting pits in my stainless. They smoothed out over time.
