I stopped by a lgs this afternoon. I don't usually go there and they had a new GP100. It had the matte target grey finish. "Old" style grips with some fancy checkered rosewood inserts and night sites. 6 sjot 357 with a 2 1/2 or so barrel. Full size grips by the way not the compact size. It was a bulky revolver to say the least with the full size grips.

There were 754 reasons why I didn't buy it.

the sales man said the finish was brushed but it looked like a coating or paint almost.

Is this an unusul model? Is it worth the price? 754?

Oh yes! I've heard of the wiley clapp model but this is the first I've seen one in person. Huh. 750 is normal pricing? Wow. I wonder if the dealer knew it was the Wiley Clapp. I doubt it or they would have charged more. This place is not the cheapest.

Yea that pic i just posted was stolen from a local ffl here (pic was stolen, not gun). His price is $700. But i see em from $700 to about $850 depending on seller.
