2 actually, I just picked them up today, one for me and one for my Dad.

I had a PF9 KelTec for 2 weeks but I never even shot it. I was ready to but I stopped by my LGS last week and the LC9 felt a lot better in the hand so I sold it.

Anyways, great forum you all have here, I have read a lot of info on the LC9 and I am looking forward to getting to the range with it.

Is there anything you recommend I do to the gun first besides cleaning the grease out?

Get a 2mm roll pin punch and carefully remove the LCI, small plunger and spring. This will allow you to remove the firing pin and clean out any crude or left over milling that could be floating around the firing pin. Little pieces be careful not to lose. Then take a Dremel tool and a felt buffing wheel polish the feed ramp and the front of the magazines where the Mag disconnect rides. Check to make sure the set screw for the rear sight is secure, and have some fun.

shoot straight and shoot often

I picked up the lc9 w/lazermax about a month ago.. Absolutely love it.. Flawless with about 500 rounds fmj and 200 rounds jhp.. Picked up a IWB black leather holster w/mag pouch from Kusiak Leather in Florida for $45 + $4.20 shipping.. Great fit, great work.. Nice guy to talk to on the phone with as well.. Check him out..

It's nice to see you think about your dad.
I had to buy my own.
