New Grips By Pvt Schultz

I was fortunate enough to be drawn as a winner of the recent karma conducted by member and grip maker Carl Schultz. I selected a set of very beautiful spalted Maple grips that fit the steel grip frame of my 'pinto' NM .45 Blackhawk very well, and fill my hands much better than factory or skinny semi-custom' grips like the Hogue grips that I had on the gun before.

These pix aren't the greatest - taken indoors at night time, and pretty dark, even with my flash. I'll shoot some more pix outdoors and see if I can't get some better ones. Here's a little teaser, anyway!

I was also one of the lucky few. I chose Holly for mine.
Those are some nice grips and the figure is outstanding.

WOW!!
I have to "settle" for Eagle grips on my single actions, but will someday step up and get some true custom grips.

I bought some spalted maple grips from Pvt Schultz a few years back - still very happy and they always get many positive compliments when I have my 45 Blackhawk at the ramge.
