I've had good luck with most ammo, except for the last batch I got of WWB -- lots of light primer strikes. Fires the cheap Tula stuff just fine and any other brass ammo I've tried. The newer SR9s make it a bit easier to get at the striker assembly as well.
Had a LOT of light primer strikes with my new early production SR9 when running WWB at the first range session. Cleaned out the striker channel with Gun Blast, and it ran fine afterwards.egl52 said:misterbunnywunny said:You'll like yours -- I managed to get mine for $270, but prices appear to be rising. I have an SR9E as well and love it, and have also had light primer strikes with WWB. The last trip to the range I probably had 5 out the box of 100 fail to fire. I did some web searches and it seems that every person complaining about light strikes with their SR9E traces it back to WWB ammo. So my solution will be to avoid WWB from now on. It has been 100% with all other brands.
