Need Prayers for my DIL

She just found out that she has breast cancer a couple of weeks ago; surgery is scheduled for December 18 (bilateral mastectomy). What lies beyond that is still unknown (chemo, radiation etc.). Fortunately, the type of cancer she has is considered 'easily' treatable and very survivable. Still, a very frightening situation to be in. Her name is Kate, and she is a strong, intelligent lady (an MD herself) to whom we have all become quite attached. It can't hurt anything to have a few additional folks praying for her and her family.

My DIL has breast cancer as well. She's currently undergoing chemo,, and has had the lump removed. PLUS,, just yesterday,, her mother had a mastectomy as well after her chemo for it too. A double whammy here. So,, we do know where y'all are at.

My mother had a double mastectomy when she was 60 went on for another thirty years and passed away from old age at 92. I pray that your DIL will do well.
